Rep. Bryan Sandlin on KIT Radio discusses his grant writers bill that would help rural counties, the vehicle pursuit legislation and the capital budget process

State Rep. Bryan Sandlin, R-Zillah, joins KIT to talk about his first bill moving through the legislative process – HB 1783, which is designed to help distressed areas by supporting economic development through the hiring of grant writers. He also discussed the latest on the legislation concerning law enforcement vehicle pursuits, pointing out politics should not play a role in such an important public safety issue. Sandlin gave overview of his work on the Capital Budget Committee and how the House version of the budget is coming along.
